I’m not sure yet what I feel about him. He’s such an odd mix of gentleman and jerk, perfect man and bastard. I mean the good looks and cooking are great but his bouts of immaturity and assiness are very off-putting.
A Good Marriage (
She downs a couple more shots, and the fun begins as she asks the women if they don’t feel guilty for letting her do all the work. Jang-mi criticizes them for socializing while she and Mom worked, when they’re the two here that aren’t even related to the deceased. She’s even angry with Grandma, sobbing that she thought she was nice but she let her be taken advantage of. She’s not wrong, but it’s a bit too far, and even Ki-tae shoots her a look that says, Too much, dial it back.
I don’t understand who she really like (for the record, I’ve watched till episode 6) and she doesn’t have much layers to her character. I don’t know if it’s her acting, or the script, but she’s so over the top with the funny scenes so I don’t find it that funny anymore. I don’t get how the guys fell in love with her?
Drama Korea Kokdu: Season of Deity Subtitle Indonesia 1 – 16(END)
We’ll know he’s true colours soon enough. Meanwhile, y’all can have Ki-tae, I’ll keep sexy man with the sexy eyes and the sexy back all to myself. I’ll chain him to my kitchen and it shall be wonderful.
Jang-mi begins the date pouting, seeing as how Mom was taken hostage just to get her here, while Ki-tae decides to spend the date taking couple photos to put online. She’s annoyed when he dabs her lips with ice cream, but then she gets her revenge with an ice cream cone to the nose, and he gets his cute picture.
Additionally, despite the familiar K-Drama elements, there was so much that felt new about this show. It was the first time I thought fake dating seemed reasonable. It was the first time I thought a love triangle was adorable .
I’ll probably finish up later in the week all going well. Ki Tae and Jang Mi struggle to clean up the mess they created with the fake marriage now that they are really dating. Jang Mi’s restaurant is having trouble with business. At work, Jang Mi thinks about her kiss with Yeo Reum and calls herself crazy.
Mom says that she will bring conclusive evidence that his relationship with Jang Mi is fake. Sooo next day, Jang Mi sits with her new phone and Yeo Reum texts her, apologizing about earlier and www.hookupsranked.com offers to take her out to eat. Just as she’s about to agree, she receives a text from Gi Tae asking her to meet him. She rejects him but he tells her that he has something to threaten her with.
They are not built on a heavy foundation of reality. I guess my biggest annoyance with yeo rum is not the character itself but rather the actor. With hoon dong i get that he needs to overact and so while hes the «villain» i still enjoy his acting bc it matches up with his character, bratty and overacting. Hmm it could be excused as mysterious but to me he looks like he just wanna keep his face beautiful (which he is!) Without much depth.
I loved how they started every episode with some fast-forwarded scene that made you go, «did I miss an episode or something?». They are one of the few relationships in the show based on complete honesty with each other – despite the fact that it’s not an actual relationship . It has so much potential in the first 2 episodes. I find that I can’t root for our heroin much.
It’s clear that Gi Tae is slowly becoming more and more attached to Jang Mi than he initially thought possible. He is finally showing her some of his real feelings. There was so much truth behind his words when he told his mom that when he’s around Jang Mi, things he wanted to hide just comes out and it’s actually a relief to have someone to share those things with. She’s exactly the kind of person that he needs in his life and when he’s able to face his true feelings and is able to convince her likewise, she will be his constant companion for life.
